Hijab is a novel written in Kannada by Guruprasad Kaginele in 2017. This novel did introduce a new world to Kannada literary world while exploring different aspects of migration. The book was critically acclaimed by both the readers and critics. This novel was honored by Karnataka saahitya academy as the best novel in Kannada for the year 2017. Milana Kannada Koota presents Varamahalakshmi Habba 2020 . During this uncertain times, lets all get together and pray for well being of the universe and seek blessings of mother Varamahalakshmi. Sri. Raghuchandra Bhat ("Bhatru") will be performing pooje to Godess Varamahalakshmi and the event will be live on zoom. Milana members will have an opportunity to particiapte in the event through- 1) Perform Pooje at home with Bhatru - Bhatru will share instructions on zoom and participants will follow the same and perform pooje at home. 2) Offer Archane - Share details of your family and Bhatru will perform Archane for your family. ||Om Ganeshaya namah|| Milana Kannada Koota presents Ganesha Chathurthi Celebrations 2020. To kickstart the festive season, Milana Kannada Koota will be organizing a special pooja to Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. Considering the state restrictions on assembly of people, this would be a virtual pooja and will be broadcasted live on Zoom. Sri. Raghuchandra Bhat ("Bhattru") will be performing this pooja at his residence and an eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganapathi will be used for the pooja. Milana members will have an opportunity to offer Archana to Lord Ganesha during the pooja. Members can share details of their family and Bhattru will perform Archana for the family.
